Physical Properties:

POF: Thin and tough, uniform thickness, good moisture resistance, soft texture, high tensile strength, high tear resistance, adjustable shrinkage rate, good friction resistance.

PE: Thick and uniform, good moisture resistance, soft texture, lower tear strength compared to POF but higher than PVC, poor friction resistance compared to POF.

PVC: Uneven thickness, poor moisture resistance, hard and brittle texture, low strength, low shrinkage rate, poor friction resistance.

Cold Resistance:

POF: Excellent cold resistance, remains non-brittle and non-crispy at -50°C, suitable for packaging frozen foods, maintains packaging integrity at -50°C to 95°C for long-term storage, anti-static fog treatment prevents dust contamination, keeps products fresh.

PE: Susceptible to breakage during transportation, does not become brittle after freezing in winter, anti-static treatment prevents dust contamination, keeps products fresh.

PVC: Susceptible to breakage in winter or after freezing, becomes brittle after freezing, prone to breakage during transportation, lacks anti-static treatment, prone to dust contamination, leading to product pollution.

Processing Performance:

POF: No gas generation during processing, no sealing sticking, simple maintenance and operation, suitable for high-speed automated packaging lines.

PE: No gas generation during processing, no sealing sticking, easy maintenance and operation, suitable for high-speed automated packaging lines.

PVC: Produces harmful gases during processing, does not meet environmental protection requirements, prone to mechanical damage, inconvenient operation, difficult maintenance.

Safety:

POF: Soft and non-hazardous after shrink packaging, no sharp corners to injure hands, and friction-resistant.

PE: Soft and non-hazardous after shrink packaging, no sharp corners to injure hands.

PVC: Hard and sharp corners after shrink packaging, prone to hand injuries.

Environmental Protection and Hygiene:

POF: Non-toxic, no toxic odor during processing, compliant with FDA and USDA standards.

PE: Non-toxic, no toxic gas generation during processing, compliant with FDA and USDA standards.

PVC: Toxic, emits odor during processing, gradually being phased out.
